What are the benefits of being a committee member?

BUILD YOUR NETWORK

During your time as a committee member, you will meet lots of new people ranging from sponsors, representatives and other committee members with interesting stories and opportunities to share.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

You will be given a multitude of different tasks and will gain more experience in leadership, teamwork and communication. It is also a valuable experience that recruiters will appreciate.

FRIENDSHIPS

Making friends during university can be difficult. But by working with a team of like-minded students regularly, you are bound to develop friendships with many other committee members. There are also quite a few social events MASA holds for members as well as exclusive committee bonding events as well!
